PARIS | France barred Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir from its territory after footage of him taunting detained Gaza flotilla activists triggered international condemnation.

Al Jazeera reported, citing AFP and Reuters, that France imposed the ban after the video circulated. Reuters separately reported that foreign ministers from eight Arab-Islamic countries condemned Ben-Gvir’s conduct toward flotilla participants detained by Israel.

The dispute connects European diplomacy, Gaza humanitarian politics, Israel’s internal coalition tensions and the treatment of detained activists.

The public record remains centered on the video, official condemnations, Israeli responses and any diplomatic steps by France or other governments.
